Program učenja na daljinu "Teaching of Greek as a second/foreign language Routes''

We would like to announce that the Greek Language Center organises for the 10th consecutive year the training programme, by distance, ''Teaching of Greek as a second/foreign language  Routes''. This educational course starts on Saturday December the third (3rd) and it will last 10 months. Registrations are accepted from 10-10-2016 up to 18/11/2016 in electronic form (address www.greek-language.gr/routes)


This programme is addressed to persons who are involved or interested in teaching  Greek  as a second/foreign language in Greece or worldwide, or to  graduates of Pedagological Departments, Greek Literature, Theological Schools, Foreign Literature or other greek Universities Departments or equivalent foreign Universities. Applicants who have not yet completed higher education  can be admitted conditionally .


The programme is implemented entirely by distance and consists of eight modules, covering the main core field and other fields  for the teaching of Greek:


1.    planning and managing of the course, course of four skills

2.    grammar, vocabulary, and pronounciation

3.    teaching the language to children

4.    assessment of students performance

5.    computer assisted language learning

6.    aspects of the language

7.    bilingualism: language and the way of thinking to the bilingual speaker

8.    when cultures converse at school: intercultural educational issues


Please note that the programme provides a certification for the teaching of the Greek Language which can be used by individuals who followed the course, as an advantage to be appointed to host structures, as experts in training refugees.
