UNIRI on the list of highest ranking universities

The latest QS list of the highest ranking universities in the region (Quacquarelli Symonds annual rankings by region) was published in mid-October, covering 1000 universities around the world.

Universities are ranked according to the following regions: Asia, Latin America, the Arab Region, Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

Five of the Croatian universities can be found on the list concerning the regions of Eastern Europe and Central Asia - the University of Zagreb (37th place), the University of Rijeka (86th place) and the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, the University of Dubrovnik and the University of Zadar (from 201st to 250th place).

In the Asia region, the highest ranking universities are: Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU), National University of Singapore (NUS) i The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

In the Arab region, the highest ranking universities are: American University of Beirut (AUB), King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals i King Saud University.

In the region of Eastern Europe and Central Asia, the highest ranking universities are: Lomonosov Moscow State University, Novosibirsk State University i University of Tartu.

In Latin America, the highest ranking universities are: Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (UC), Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp) i Universidade de São Paulo.
