Human Rights Round Table

The Association for the Development of Higher Education "Universitas" in cooperation with the University of Rijeka invites all who are interested to a roundtable discussion on "The Status of Human Rights in the Republic of Croatia - The Role of the Academic Community", which is to be held on Monday, December 11th, 2017 starting at 5 p.m. in the Town Hall of the City of Rijeka, Korzo 16. The roundtable discussion will be held on the occasion of the International Day of Human Rights, celebrated on December 10th, 2017.

Prof. Sanja Barić, Ph.D., UNIRI Faculty of Law,

Associate Prof. Bojana Ćulum, Ph.D., UNIRI Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences,

Dijana Kesonja, LLB, the Republic of Croatia Ombudswoman's Office,

Assistant Prof. Dalida Rittossa, Ph.D., UNIRI Faculty of Law. 

The roundtable discussion will be moderated by Assistant Prof. Marko Turk, Ph.D., Head of the ''Universitas''. 

This roundtable discussion aims to contribute to the debate on the state and the challenges of human rights in the Republic of Croatia, as well as the role of the academic community in preserving stability and their public promotion.
