Center for EU Projects Info-Day

The Center for EU Projects of the University of Rijeka and the Agency for Mobility and EU Programs invite all interested to an info-day entitled "Socio-economic and Cultural Transformations" in the Horizon 2020 program, which is to be held on Friday, December 15th, 2017 at the STEPRI Science and Technology Park at the University of Rijeka Campus, Radmile Matejčić 10, Rijeka.

The info-day will focus on the Horizon 2020 program's areas of interest:



The areas or keywords included in the competition are: cultural heritage, social cohesion, employment, education, digitization, cities, cultural tourism, creative cultural industries (CCI), economy, governance, international protection and asylum systems, trust, inter-disciplinarity and SSH integration, gender, public engagement, ethics, open science, etc.

The program of this info-day is intended for scientists, civil society organizations, local government, and self-government.



The info-day will start at 12 p.m. according to the following program:

- Prof. Marina Vicelja Matijašić, Ph.D., and Prof. Maja Vehovec, Ph.D., members of the Program Board "Inclusive, Innovative and Thinking Societies", introductory remarks,

- Marina Pražetina, Horizon 2020 National Contact Person for 'Inclusive, Innovative and Thinking Societies', 'Science for and for the Society', themes of the Horizon 2020 competition: Socio-Economic and Cultural Transformations,

- Prof. Svjetlana Kolić Vehovec, Ph.D., experience gained through participation in Horizon 2020 e-Confidence project,

- Mirna Karzen, Social Innovation Laboratory (SIL), experience gained through participation in Horizon 2020 Social Innovation Community (SIC) project.



The program is expected to be finished within 2 hours.

In order to participate, it is necessary to apply via an online form which also allows the participants to ask specific questions that will be answered during the info-day.
