Within the framework of the international Croatian-Japanese project "Risk Identification and Land – Use Planning for Disaster Mitigation of Landslides and Floods in Croatia", on March 26th, 2013 at the University of Rijeka Faculty of Civil Engineering a scientific workshop entitled RADAR METEOROLOGY was held: collection, analysis and prognosis of the weather via radar data was held.

·         Professor Bojan Lipovšćak, Ph.D., Croatian Meteorological and Hydrological Service

·         Professor Damir Počakal, Ph.D. Croatian Meteorological and Hydrological Service

·         Professor Karolj Skala, Ph.D. Ruđer Bošković Institute

·         Alen Sajko, Director of MET Division, Croatian Air Traffic Control
 

The main organizer of the workshop was the University of Rijeka Faculty of Civil Engineering, while the co-organizers were the Croatian Meteorological and Hydrological Service, the Croatian Hydrology Association and the Croatian Society for Irrigation and Drainage.
