Visit from Argentina Delegation

On the occasion of visitng the City of Rijeka, the delegation from the Argentinian city Zarate, headed by their Vice Mayor Patricia Moyano, visited the University of Rijeka Rectorate on November 25th, 2016. Due to their plan to establish a University in Zarate, they conversed with the University of Rijeka Rector, Prof. Pero Lučin, M.D., Ph.D., about the organization of the University of Rijeka.

The Delegation came to Rijeka to sign an Agreement on the Establishment of Friendship City Relations between the City of Rijeka and the City of Zarate. Zarate is a port town in Argentina with slightly over 100,000 inhabitants and is situated in a small bay in the south Atlantic, not far from Buenos Aires.

The Vice Mayor Moyano was accompanied by the following delegation: Human Resources and Social Activities Manager Rodrigo Garcia Otero, the President of the Croatian-Argentinian Chamber of Economy Ivan Ostoja and the Head of the Rijeka branch-office of the Croatian Heritage Foundation, Dejan Miculinić.

The Delegation also visited the County Chamber Rijeka of the Croatian Chamber of Economy, the City of Rijeka and the Port of Rijeka.
