Adaptation of Literature

The adaptation of literature for blind and visually impaired University of Rijeka students will be provided during the academic year 2016/2017 within the framework of the project entitled “The Adaptation of Literature for Blind and Visually Impaired Students II” which is being implemented by the 'Imagine' Association as the carrier and in the partnership with the University of Rijeka (the University Counselling Centre Office for Students with Disabilities), the University of Zagreb Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Political Sciences, as well as the University of Split.

The project is being implemented with the financial support from the Ministry of Science and Education based on a
project-funding Public Call for adaptation and production of textbooks/literature for blind and visually impaired pupils and students in the school/academic year 2016/2017, and will be carried out until June 5th, 2017.
Equal-opportunity studying will be made possible for blind and visually impaired students with this project and a collaborative network for adapting literature for students with disabilities is set to be established. Within the framework of the SCC Office for Students with Disabilities work, adaptation of literature will be provided to four students with visual impairment.
