Welcome to UNIRI!

The International Mobility Office of the University of Rijeka organized an info-day for incoming Erasmus students on Wednesday, March 7th, 2018, at the Faculty of Civil Engineering on the University of Rijeka Campus.
Since 2011, when Croatia became fully engaged in the program, the University has welcomed more than 800 incoming Erasmus students.

The Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management is set to host 26 students within the 2017/2018 summer semester from Spain, Finland, Germany, Slovenia, Italy, Poland, Slovakia, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, and Portugal.

The Faculty of Economics is set to host 31 students from Bulgaria, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Italy, Slovakia, Finland, Czech Republic, Germany, and Turkey.

The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is set to host 24 students from France, Poland, Italy, Greece, Portugal, Finland, Turkey, Macedonia, Spain, and Germany.

The Faculty of Maritime Studies is set to host eight students from Greece, Germany, Estonia, Spain, and Poland.

The Faculty of Law is set to host seven students from Italy, Poland, Slovakia, Austria, and Germany.

The Faculty of Engineering will host four students from Finland and France.

The Faculty of Teacher Education is set to host two students from Austria and France.

Two students from Poland are set to study at the UNIRI Department of Informatics. 

The Faculty of Civil Engineering will host one student from Austria.

The UNIRI Department of Biotechnology is set to host four students from Spain, Finland, and Italy.

The Academy of Applied Arts is set to host three students from Germany, Latvia and Czech Republic.

Prof. Sanja Barić, Ph.D., Vice-Rector for Studies and Students, and Maša Šašinka, Head of the International Mobility Office, addressed the students and wished them all a successful, useful, and also enjoyable stay.

The members of the International Mobility Office held a presentation about the University of Rijeka and introduced the students to all the practical matters related to their study and stay in Rijeka and the Republic of Croatia. 

The members of the Erasmus Student Network Rijeka introduced the students with their activities, and Associate Prof. Željka Macan, Ph.D., Head of The Rijeka Croatist School, and Sandra Jukić, lector, introduced the students with the possibility of enrolling in Croatian language courses.

The students, accompanied by their Croatian colleagues from Erasmus Student Network Rijeka, headed on a Rijeka and Opatija sightseeing after the formal part of the info-day.
