Scientific Colloquium



The Scientific Colloquium of the University of Rijeka, entitled ''Development of the Institute of Hydrotechnics and Geotechnics through EU Projects'', was held on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at the UNIRI Faculty of Civil Engineering, as a part of a one-day scientific meeting, which presented the development of the Institute of Hydrotechnics and Geotechnics and monographs written within the whole activity.

The aim of the Scientific Colloquium of the University of Rijeka, which has been held since 2010, is to present scientific activities and research and artistic achievements of Croatian and foreign scientists to young researchers, students, professors and the wider community. The UNIRI Scientific Colloquium places a special emphasis on topics that contribute to the better implementation and presentation of activities and results obtained from major international, scientific and infrastructural EU projects completed or ongoing at the University of Rijeka or its constituents.

The Colloquium was opened by Snježana Prijić-Samaržija, Ph.D., University of Rijeka Rector. Professor Ivana Štimac Grandić, Ph.D., Dean of the UNIRI Faculty of Civil Engineering, addressed the attendees, while Prof. Nevenka Ožanić, Ph.D., Rector's Assistant for Strategic Infrastructure Projects on Campus, Head of the Institute of Hydrotechnics and Geotechnics of the UNIRI Faculty of Civil Engineering and Head of the UNIRI Scientific Colloquium, held the introductory presentation
