On Reproductive Rights

The Association for Human Rights and Civic Participation ''PaRiter'' has presented a publication entitled "Reproductive Justice for a Fair Society" at a conference of the same name held on Friday, October 26th, 2018, and organized by the Center for Women's Studies of the UNIRI Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and the ''PaRiter'' Association.

This is an important step toward observing reproductive rights issues in the context of social and other rights. Over the last few years, we have witnessed an increasing public interest in the issue of human rights and women's rights. Women have brought negative political and social tendencies of collapsing and limiting these rights both to the public and scientific discourse. The Croatian context, as well as the context of most countries in our cultural circle, is known for the growth and proliferation of the neoconservative clerical movement, whose agenda, although written in "tiny letters", is only and exclusively focused on reducing the rights of minority groups and women.

The publication contains expert texts by the following authors: Ms. Ana Marija Sikirić, Ph.D., Ms. Karolina Leaković, Ms. Anita Budak, Ms. Petra Bezjak, Ms. Daniela Drandić, Ms. Helena Rašić Radauš and Ms. Ana Šuman, Ms. Lana Vidmar, Ms. Monica Marić and Ms. Monica Marić Topalović, Ms. Jana Ažić and Ms. Matea Krmpotić, with the preface of Ms. Iva Davorija and Ms. Marinella Matejčić.

The publication is available online (www.pariter.hr) in the form of an interactive PDF, while a physical copy can be taken for free at PaRiter's office at the following address: Janeza Trdine 7, Rijeka.
