The Rijeka Croatist School, operating at the UNIRI Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, celebrated its 10th anniversary. The School promotes the Croatian language knowledge, Croatian literature and culture in an international context, and develops contemporary methods of Croatian language teaching.

The first, founding session of the Intersectoral Committee of the University of Rijeka for Cooperation with the French Republic was held on December 10th, 2018, at the UNIRI Rectorate. Their Excellencies, Mr. and Mrs. Phillipe and Corinne Meunier, Ambassadors of the French Republic to the Republic of Croatia, are the honorary members.
